NEWS FROM ART ROOM AND MRS. WALSH
After reading the book,
The Dot by
Peter H. Reynolds, BES kids are embracing the dot. This story is about a reluctant art student who feels she can't draw. Her teacher encourages her by saying, “Just make a mark and see where it takes you.” Peter Reynolds' book dares us all to make our mark. We thought it would be fun if everybody dresses in something with
DOTS on
Tuesday, September 22. Thanks for your support.

BEAUMONT WEDDINGS
Congratulations to Mrs. Sherri Bolger (2nd Grade, formerly Miss Criss) and Mrs. Abbey Mertz (Strings/Orchestra, formerly Miss Reed) on their summer weddings. Meanwhile, Miss Amanda Burke (Science) and Miss Kristin Senior (4th Grade) are busy planning their respective fall weddings. Congratulations to all on their exciting life changes.
PARENT SOCIAL
Mark your calendars for the Parent Social on
Saturday, November 14, from 7:00 - 11:00pm, at Hilltop House (across from Beaumont). This is Beaumont’s largest fundraiser and a wonderful place to get to know Beaumont parents, teachers and staff in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The evening features an open bar, delicious food and a silent auction.
We would appreciate any silent auction donations, including tickets to local sporting events or concerts, a weekend at your beach or mountain house, theme baskets, gift certificates to local restaurants or stores... In the past, money raised from the event has been allocated to purchase iPads for classrooms and new playground equipment. Get involved by donating, volunteering and attending. To learn more about the venue, visit
Hilltop House's website.
