Stacy Tao invites you to the Stacy Tao Artbook Charity Sale and Art Exhibition
Sunday, September 20, 2015 2-5PM, at Houston Chinese Civic Center
Stacy Tao is currently a senior student in Clements High School in Sugar Land, TX. She is daughter of Ning Cheng, the former President of Anhui Association of Texas. She is also a member of Artists of Texas. Stacy started drawing and painting at age of six and has won numerous awards since then, including the oil painting "Southern Heritage" that won the gold medal in the 2015 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo School Art Contest and was auctioned for $10,000. The art exhibition, in addition to showing her oil paintings, watercolors, drawings and mixed media artworks, will also sell her art books. All proceeds will be donated to the Against Malaria Foundation and an elementary school in Anhui China to buy school supplies. The exhibition is free, and each art book is $20. However, additional donations to the charities of any amount will be accepted. There will be refreshments and drinks available at the event.
To acknowledge Stacy’s art achievements, Houston Mayor Annise Parker proclaimed September 20, 2015 as Stacy Tao day.
