Mindfulness Starts Here!
Dear <<First Name>>:
OMC News
We hope you have all survived this very crazy Summer with its heat waves and torrential rains. At the OMC, we've had a chance to enjoy wintry weather with an AC that seemed to think we are an equatorial city! Our Fall session has begun with M4Core, M4PCI, MSC, and Transformative Mindfulness programs all filled to overflowing!
This session's
All-Day retreat is Saturday October 3rd, 9:30AM-3:30PM at St. Paul University (the parking lot is accessible). Cost is by donation.
The OMC also piloted a 6-week M4Core program in July along with Transformative Mindfulness with Craig Mackie. The response was good for both and we look forward to offering more short courses for those of you who many not have the time to take a full 8-week session. Stay tuned!
Alumni sessions begin again this month! Join us at the clinic on the 3rd and last Mondays of each month for meditation and practice tips to keep yourself going! We are also hoping to offer a 6-week booster program for alumni in November. If you are interested, please put your name on the list
here so we can let you know if and when it will be offered.
Dr. Frank Musten and OMC senior teacher Brittany Glynn attended the
Mindful Self-Compassion teacher training in August. They are currently teaching their first 8-week session. Future MSC programs will be offered regularly!

Poem
Wendel Berry
On How to Approach Every Day
“So, friends, every day do something that won't compute ... Give your approval to all you cannot understand ... Ask the questions that have no answers. Put your faith in two inches of humus that will build under the trees every thousand years ... Laugh. Be joyful though you have considered all the facts ... Practice resurrection.”
