A few days ago I asked my CEO to fire me. You can read my letter and his response here.
Why did I do it? It all started last week when I asked Joe Pulizzi who he thought was the most unqualified person in the entire world to do marketing. Without thinking he said "a classic marketer". I explain the rest in my recent post I titled:
"I have failed as a marketer"
Today happens to be the Jewish new year. My CEO's response is right in time for a new beginning, a new year, and a new me.
