Labors Beyond Labor Day

I recovered from a horrible flu just in time to attend Bookmarks NC in Winston-Salem, NC. They had a record turnout of readers and authors and it was a great event to be a part of. I sold some books, met some fascinating people, and enjoyed the bookishness of it all!

My next public appearance will be as a guest at Atomacon in Charleston, South Carolina November 13-15, 2015 where I'll share another author table with Darin Kennedy and participate as a panelist. More details to come!

My short story "Smoke Scream" about a mad scientist who inadvertently ended the world can now be read in this anthology, releasing September 15, 2015. I just finished reading the entire collection and I'm proud to have my story in such good company! One last piece of news: Curiosity Quills has accepted the sequel to Going Through the Change! We're in the editing process now and plan for an April 2016 release. So, if you're dying to know what happens next, soon you will have your chance!
