Paniolo Boot-Stompin' Fun
This year closed the 9th annual Paniolo event at Maui Preparatory Academy. It just keeps getting bigger and better! There were game booths manned by parents and students of each grade (the highlight being both laser tag and paintball), food trucks, vendor booths and entertainment from Maui Prep's own 7AM Band, Fred's Garage and Darren Lee "Elvis" himself. This event is such an important fundraiser for the school, and in particular the students and Maui Prep appreciates all of those in the community who came out to support our kids. The money raised is divided amongst each grade and helps support the trips and activities that have quickly become a tradition with the 5th grade, 8th grade and Senior Class. A huge mahalo to Corie Bluh, Michele Pupunu, Lynn Twigg and all the wonderful parent volunteers who made this event a success. It was a wonderful evening, with good food, good friends and definitely good times!

Drama UpdateThe Lower School drama club starts tomorrow, September 14 at 3:00 in the Dining Hall. Students in grades 2-5 are welcome to come and participate in this year's production of The Jungle Book Kids. It will be directed by Ms. Kristi Scott and Mrs. Vania Jerome.
