African vacation Pro Tour

Four pro skateboarders from USA did a pro tour and made 7 stops in the whole of SA. All glory to God that one of those stops was at the Son Skate Stellenbosch skate park. Lots of people turned up and everyone were amazed by the high level of skating. Thanks to Revolutiuon for bringing these guys out to SA, respect.

Vertically Insane 2010

This year we decided to only focus on skateboarding, rollerblading, bmxing, bands and a few stalls. The competitions went well and the bands added a great atmosphere to the day. Check out the poster below:


Springtide 2010

Son Skate Stellenbosch had the previlege of running the Springtide skateboarding competition again this year. Every year Campsbay United church hosts this great event at Campsbay beach. This church really does an amazing job with this event. You can check out the website: www.spring-tide.co.za


Langabaan Trip

We were very sad to say bye to Heinrich Thiart who did a practical internship with us for two and a half months. He went back to Jbay to finish his year of intership at Son Surf and Son Skate. He served us in n huge way and he has a great attitude and a heart for Skate ministry. To thank him we took him on a little trip to the Langebaan skate park. We also met Lloyd at the park, the guy next to me in the photo below. God gave us an opportunity to witness to him an pray for him.
