Programme Announcement #1!

IFFA has decided to roll out our film programme announcements this year, and this is the first taste!
There has been a change of schedule for Brisbane!

IFFA in Brisbane will now be held from the 22 - 25 October!

Homa is assigned a 10-day night shift to take care of an old woman while her treating doctor is away. A huge snowstorm has hit Iran and is causing havoc throughout the city. As the nights go by, she has trouble sleeping. The stress of her insomnia and personal issues brings her to a life crisis.

The film features a wonderful performance from Fatemeh Motamed Aria as Homa. This is Morteza Farshbaf's second feature.

Will he be able to find the drugs, save the girl and figure out whom to trust?

Documentary about Iranian actress Shahrzaad (Kobra Amin Sa'idi) needs your help!

A lyrical documentary about Shahrzaad, Kobra Amin-Sa’idi, a veteran actor, dancer, poet and Iran's first woman filmmaker whose work is currently banned and who is now a wandering homeless woman in search of survival. 

The film is directed by Award-winning Shahin Parhami, and he is crowdfunding to finish the sound mix and final print of the film. Any extra proceeds will go to Sahahrzaad herself.

Tales BAPFF Screening!
