We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in obtaining future funding with Lancashire Adult Learning again to deliver training within your communities to attend one of the following courses within the academic year of 2015-16:

          Deaf Awareness
          YMHFA Lite
          MHFA Lite
          Practical Ideas For Happier Living

We have been tasked with working with the following groups:

          People Recovering from Drug or Substance Abuse
          Blind / Partially Sighted [including combined provision]
          Carers Deaf / Hard of Hearing
          People experiencing from Mental ill-health
          People with Learning Difficulties
          People with Physical Disabilities
          Lone Parents
          Long-term
          Unemployed
          Volunteers
          Vulnerable & Isolated
          Older Learners
          Ethnic Minority Groups / Social Cohesion
          Working with Families
          People living in areas of high deprivation
          People whose literacy, language & numeracy skills are below Level 2
          LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender)
          People in rurally isolated areas (defined locally)

Also

We have a British Sign Language (BSL) Foundation course, this progression course is ideal if you have attended a Deaf Awareness course or if you generally want to learn more about BSL. This course has been part-funded and will be at a cost of £75 per person which is great value.
