Join us for the 18th Annual Day at the Point celebrating Point of Honor's 200th year! This annual fall festival will bring living history, food, kid's games, cider making and tasting, crafts, period music, and much more to the grounds! A rare Piedmont auto made in Lynchburg in 1919 will be featured!

The James River Squadron: A Short History of the Confederacy's Capital Navy

Lynchburg Museum, 901 Court Street, Lynchburg, VA
Dr. John Coski, Historian, The American Civil War Museum, will speak on the James River Confederate Navy Squadron and the naval war along the James.
Exhibit tour and refreshments follow.
Hours: The Museum and Point of Honor are open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday noon to 4:00 pm. Both sites are closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
