YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLEDGE YOUR SUPPORT!

Keen Haynes and Don Bowen will be riding their motor cycles for the benefit of Saint Thomas of Canterbury with part of the donations going to the Temecula Food Pantry.

The ride will take place on September12 & 13. They plan to ride 1,500 miles in just 36 hours!

A pledge poster & sign-up sheet is in the Narthex for you to provide your support. Pledge so-much per mile or pledge a flat amount. You can also ask family & friends to pledge. Every dollar helps!

Let’s show our support for Keen and Don as they truly do something special for our church and the community.
“Visit with the Vicar” at Starbucks

On the second Sunday of the month, Father Robert invites everyone to Visit with the Vicar at Starbucks (corner of Temecula and Pechanga Parkways).

He will be there at 5:30 that afternoon at one of the tables for about an hour. So, get your coffee or other favorite food and/or beverage item and join him. This is an opportunity for folks to get to know each other better. It is very informal.

The next time is Sunday, September 13.

PEACE WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 19 & 20

Don't miss the launch of Beads for Peace and some special prayers for peace at all services on September 19 & 20, in honor of International Day of Peace (September 21).  Pam Bowen will be selling her hand-crafted jewelry and wearable Anglican rosaries. She uses recycled materials and gives her profits to various peace-building organizations. Prices range from $5 to $25, cash or credit, tax included.

Pam will be happy to take your donation of unwanted beads, either on Peace Weekend or on any other Sunday.

Until then,
Peace be with you!

An Easy, Fulfilling Way to Make a Difference!!

Our Temecula Food Pantry Ministry is seeking more volunteers to help us provide breakfasts on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.   It is easy to participate.  We put your email address on our list and, as we coordinate the next breakfast, you receive an email asking what you might be able to bring; maybe a breakfast dish, or just some fruit, a bottle of juice, some bagels, whatever you can. Please contact Barbara Pugh at (951) 264-9980 or email if you are willing to help in this ministry, and she will add your name to our volunteer email list.

In Barb’s own words:
“Do you enjoy getting big smiles and heartfelt thank you's? Here is an opportunity to participate in a mission that will make you feel so blessed in God's service that you will smile all day. The Temecula Food Pantry mission is one of those services in which you receive as much as you give. The first and third Mondays of each month, you have the opportunity to join us in serving truly hungry people who are grateful and need the food we provide. If you are the least bit interested in this soul-satisfying service, please call, text or e-mail me.”
