The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1
MISSION STATEMENT
Heritage School provides a distinctive classical Christ-centered education that prepares students for servant leadership and lives that glorify God.

"So goes the senior class..."

“So goes the senior class, so goes the school”
In my 20 years in education, the above statement has been proven over and over again. The temperament of the senior class and how they respond to authority and decisions that affect them are mimicked, consciously and/or unconsciously, by their underclassmen. EMERGENCY FORMS

Administration is missing Medical Emergency Forms for many students.  Please turn them in to April Klepac no later than Tuesday, September 8th.  We need one for each family.  A form was included in the Back to School Night packet or click here to print one from home.  Copies of the form are outside the Administration Office as well.

Labor Day Holiday

Enjoy your long weekend.  Heritage School resumes Tuesday, September 8th.

A matter of perspective...

Heritage School is blessed to have an active construction site on our school campus.  Construction equals growth!  Heritage School is making every effort to create a safe environment for our families during this phase.  However, we need your assistance to maintain the safety of our students.  While on campus, after school hours, please have direct supervision with your students.

Enjoy the game this evening!

3rd Graders Challenge Heritage School...

Hungry to Help!  September is National Hunger Awareness Month.  Heritage 3rd graders invite you to be “Hungry to Help” and halt the spread of hunger in Fredericksburg by bringing food to the school for our local Food Pantry Social Services.   You may begin bringing the food now and throughout the month of September and place it in the boxes provided.   Our school goal is to collect 1000 pounds!  In order to do that, we need your help.  Canned meat and soups are good things to bring as well as canned juice and instant cereals or nutrition bars.  While you are buying, think about Box Top items so you earn bonus box top points in coupons for our school.  You can find a long list of products on the Box Tops website.  There are many that the Food Pantry could use – Bisquick, Gold Medal Flour, Cheerios, Total, Hamburger Helper, Progresso soups, Welch’s jellies, Cottonelle products and much more!

Lunchtime!

Heritage School is offering lunches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Opa's Monday:  This semester (August - December) students may order monthly.  Deadline: Monday prior to each month.  No changes may be made mid-month.  Beginning January 4th students will order for the entire semester.  A new and improved order form is provided; you may also find the order form in the Opa’s box. Opa’s orders should be delivered to the school at not Opa’s. If you are unsure of which sandwich to try, stop by the Opa’s storefront in Hwy 87 and try it before you commit to it for the semester.

West End Wednesday:  You may pick up an order form from the ‘West End Pizza Co. Box’ in the teacher workroom or go online to: www.westendpizzacompany.com/heritage-school.htm and place your order.  Payment may be made online or with a check placed in the box each Wednesday.

West End Pizza Fridays:
Here’s how it will work:
Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Sausage and Cheese pizza will be available.
