Hi Moms and Dads

We had a really fantastic evening with the children who came to our pyjama party on Friday. The children were treated to a treasurehunt, popcorn, a drama production of the ‘Three Little Pigs’ by the staff, which I must say was so much fun, a movie, Paddington Bear, and hot-chocolate. The children  were so well behaved and snuggled up in their beds with their pillows, blankets, and a special toy and fell fast asleep!!!! So precious to spend this time with them.

It’s our Birthday this month and we are 50 years old. Yes Fish Hoek Pre-Primary turns 50! 50 years of supurb education and fun with all the many children that have passed through our doors.
To celebrate we will be having an Open school on Saturday 19th Septemeber on OPEN DAY. We invite all past and present pupils, teachers, Board members and friends to come and have a cup of tea/coffee and a cupcake from 10.30am and have a look at how the school has progressed.
Any new prospective parents are invited to have a look at what Fish Hoek Pre-Primary has to offer children. The staff will gladly take them around the school and answer any questions they may have. The school will be set up for the children to do art and have fun in the garden.

Just a reminder that the last day of the 3rd Term will be Wednesday 23rd September. We will return to school for the first day of the 4th Term on Monday 12th October.
PLEASE NOTE STAY AND PLAY WILL BE AVALIABLE TO ALL THE CHILDREN OF THE SCHOOL. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WILL BE USING THIS SERVICE FOR THE EXTRA DAYS OF THE HOLIDAYS SO THAT WE CAN ENSURE THAT THERE IS ENOUGH TEACHERS AND SUPERVISION.

Skills: Please continue to encourage your children to tie their shoe laces. Everyday before the chilldren go into the garden each child has to skip with a  rope. A few children can skip forward +backward but most children are unable to skip. I encourage you to buy them a skipping rope and challenge the whole family to use it as a form of exercise. Count while skipping to extend number skills. Compare Who got the most/ least etc. Dad + moms please allow your children to beat you.
The pyjama party was good fun. Thank you for allowing your children to attend.
Have a good week.

Hello everyone. What a wonderful outing we had! The children had a great experience and learnt a lot. Thanks to the team and parents. If you haven't seen the pictures just join our class whatsapp group and Kerri L. will be happy to send them to you.
This week we will be learning about our environment. Help them identify what surrounds them and attach colours. Encourage children to focus by setting simple tasks at home for them to do. Please we only allow toys on Wednesday for show and tell. You can send in books or anything that can help us develop our theme. If they bring toys everyday, then they want 'show and tell' everyday and we don't want to disappoint them. Thank you!
Have a super week.
