Autumn Abundance

The giant kohlrabi walk among us..

Hey CSA'ers

There is a definite fall crunch in the air & we're hoping everything at the farm missed frost last night. We have about 3 weeks left in the CSA, and plenty of veggies to see us to the end. Veggies this time of year are heartier and heavier - no rush to use all the kohlrabi at one, these will store well in your refrigerator in plastic for 4 months. Same with the carrots, if you can resist!

For many folks fall is the time for new routines - so we've included some recipes that would be great "make ahead" items for a week at work or school.

Thank you for eating with us!

Kossak will keep in cold storage (plastic in the fridge) for up to 4 months. We have been  making lots of "pickles" by lactofermentation processes - kohlrabi is perfect for that.
