The new intake of Jockey Coaches are working hard with their jockeys and already seeing positive results. They are also undergoing training this week on an important new online support tool for the training programme.

NeW CASE STUDY - ED COOKSON
Ed's Conditional career (most recently for Kim Bailey) was beset by injuries which eventually forced him to retire. He is about to start an intensive farming course, part funded by JETS. Read Ed's thoughts on life away from the saddle and the advice that he would give to jockeys who are out injured that he wished he'd put into practice himself!

This month we have a range of interesting roles including Stewards Secretaries with BHA, Head Groundsperson and Management Accountant at Chepstow and Bars and Retail Manager at Bath.

CONGRATULATIONS TO JAMES MILLMAN
Just last week, James Millman received the good news that he has gained a First Class Law Degree. James, who received a scholarship from JETS, managed to complete the three year course in an intensive two year programme. He now aims to find a training contract with a law firm and do his Post Graduate LPC.
