The Fall Product Program is Almost Here!

Just 8 more days until the start of the 2015 Fall Product Program! Here are some final tips to ensure that your program starts off smoothly.

Once you have completed your Troop Product Manager (TPM ) Agreement, renewed your membership for the 2015-2016 year, and received your Nut.E Login, it is time to set up your Nut.E account! Here’s how:
  1. Login into Ashdon Farms’ Nut.E and select the Troops icon.
  2. Update your contact information.
  3. Select your troop’s grade level and proceed plan (only Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador troops may select ‘Without Recognitions’).
  4. New! Enter your bank account information directly into Nut.E.
  5. You’re all set!

Sneak Peek at the 2016 Cookie Program

You asked, and we listened! We’re re-introducing a period of order taking during the 2016 Cookie Program to give families easier access to the program and relieve some of the pressure before cookies arrive. The Cookie Program teaches Girl Scouts skills that will help them grow into leaders in their own lives, in business and the world, and we want to make it easier for girls to participate.

This 10-day period will offer an exclusive time for girls to go door-to-door and reach out to customers online through COCOdirect. By opening up the Cookie Program for order taking 10 days before cookies arrive, we’re giving girls even more ways to learn and succeed through Girl Scouts.

2016 Cookie Program Key Dates:
  • January 16, 2016: Cookie Kick-Off in Des Moines, Omaha and Mason City!
  • New! February 1 - February 11, 2016: Order-Taking begins (including COCOdirect!)
  • February 12 - March 20, 2016: Direct Sales begin (Booth Sales & Cookies on-hand)
  • February 27 - 28, 2016: National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend

Service Unit Cookie Rally Resources Are Ready - Be Sure to Opt In by November 30!

Cookie Rallies are service unit events hosted by volunteers in that area. A Cookie Rally allows girls to participate in activities that will help them become successful sellers during the Cookie Program each year.

They’ll learn the basics of goal setting, how to create a sales pitch, and so much more! The tools on our Cookie Rally page will assist you in hosting a rally for your service unit. Be sure to fill out your 2016 Cookie Rally Reply Form by November 30, 2015 if you plan to hold a rally!

Psst...Did you know that if you open up any service unit event to girls across the council, you can have it featured on our website event list and open it up for Cookie Dough/Munch Money/JPC as payment methods? If you want to do this with your service unit Cookie Rally, fill out the Event Listing Request Form eight weeks prior to your event!
