Quality Measures for the Arts
It’s not too late to register to field test curriculum-embedded performance designed for K-12 music, theatre, dance and visual arts; and K-8 teachers are invited to try out theatre tasks in their literacy and ELA classes and PE teachers try out dance items.

Professional Learning

MAC Reads! is back in 2015-16 with Susan Brookhart. This year, it’s your choice, read independently or join a regional study group; read one or all of these three titles: Advancing Formative Assessment in Every Classroom, How to Create and Use Rubrics, Formative Walkthroughs: how principals and teachers collaborate to raise student achievement. The MAC is looking for regional study group sites – it’s an easy and effective way to bring professional learning about assessment to your region.
