We apologize for the delay in this edition of Abundant Life Lines. Allen had a total knee replacement at the beginning of this month and Lisa's dad was in the hospital. Despite these obstacles we are excited to share how God continues to move at Abundant Life!
We attended the SEND Conference in Nashville, TN this past month and heard several good speakers that challenged and encouraged us. We are working to implement some of the things we learned there.
Thank you Send Cincinnati for the Church Planters B & B Riverboat dinner cruise! We were able to enjoy a beautiful evening getting to know other church planters.
We ended the month with a meeting and bonfire. We invited those who have helped us in the past along with others who had expressed interest to come. We had a great turnout and everyone enjoyed their evening.

Lakota Pointe
We were able to continue to our small group at Lakota Pointe. The air conditioner still isn't working very well but it wasn't quite as hot, so we were able to meet both times in August. We averaged 22 in attendance at those meetings. We are very thankful for our volunteers who are willing to work in less than favorable conditions. We still haven't had any men from Lakota Pointe join us yet but that continues to be one of our prayer concerns. Thank you Mickey Wright and Victor Akinbobola for joining us to create a more welcoming environment for when men begin to attend our small groups.
We were able to bless some of the ladies with some gently used clothes donated to us by Ed and Bonnie Davis. These ladies were thrilled to receive them. We were also able to help the assistant manager by giving her a baby crib, thanks John and Kim Cline! We are grateful for members of Lakota Hills Baptist Church helping us help others.
We really enjoyed handing out some much appreciated school supplies. A special thanks to the Baptist State Convention of Ohio who helped finance these supplies! We were able to hand out close to 100 bags of supplies. This is one of the many ways we use the money from those who participate through giving to Abundant Life Church. Thank you for allowing us to be a blessing to those in need!

Heritagesprings of West Chester
We average 34 residents at chapel at Heritagesprings. It is a highlight each month for us to go worship with these men and women. Their smiles are so precious. We consider it an honor to bring God's word to them and sing praises to our Savior.
We were told again how thankful the staff is to have Abundant Life come and have chapel for the residents. Because we bring so much extra help, it allows more residents to attend and makes the job easier for those who work with activities.

Meadow Ridge and North Pointe
We made fliers to promote our event on August 7. These fliers were handed out at the summer lunch program that feeds children at both Meadow Ridge and North Pointe. Because we are just getting started at building relationships at these locations, the LHBC interns helped us by serving snow cones and popcorn while we handed out school supplies. The residents filled out connection cards prior to receiving the school supplies. We were very pleased to get 44 connection cards and of those 45, 8 expressed interest in attending a small group. We have been in contact with these ladies as well as contacts we made at previous events. Our first small group was held on September 1. We will share details about that in our next newsletter!
We meet most Wednesday's to pray with the woman, Mercy, who is in charge of their lunch program. Mercy also leads a Kids Club summer program and was giving a backpack to each child who participated faithfully over summer break. We were able to help provide some of the supplies needed for the backpacks. We are happy to have the opportunity to partner with her.

Ongoing Prayer Needs
- That we would look for, recognize, and create ways to get the Gospel message to the lost people in these multi-housing areas
- That Allen and Lisa's daily walk with God would never get pushed aside by the busyness of this world, including the busyness of family or even this ministry.
- Balancing work, ministry and family

Support our Ministry
We appreciate ALL support for the ministry, we can't do it without the help of others. If you are able to financially support us we would be eternally grateful!!
You can support our ministry in three different ways:
PRAYING
A praying partner commits to praying specifically for my wife and I, our ministry, and our multi-housing residents. Prayer support is vital for us as we serve on the field!
PARTICIPATING
A participating partner commits to becoming involved personally in our ministry. For example, your church may want to send mission teams to assist us or seek to mobilize individuals within your church to be sent as short or long term missionaries as part of our planting team.
PROVIDING
A providing partner commits to supporting our ministry financially. All funds will be handled and deposited by our NAMB strategic partner, Lakota Hills Baptist Church in West Chester, Ohio. All donations are tax deductible. Please make checks payable to Lakota Hills Baptist Church. Be sure to include "Allen Lawless" on the memo line.
