Message from the Chair

Welcome to our first electronic newsletter! This quarterly newsletter will provide subscribers with information on upcoming events, alumni reports, and recent student and faculty activities. Our next issue of the newsletter will be released in November. Please feel free to send Michelle any news, publications or inspiring stories you would like us to share with our faculty and students.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the faculty and students of the Latin American Studies Program.  Although the program will function independently from our Department, we will include their news and activities in our newsletters.

Please continue to support the department and its many efforts, to spread the word about the work we do, and to let us know what you are doing in your lives and careers.

Wishing you all the best,
Hiram Aldarondo
