Volunteer Work Days begin tomorrow,
Monday, September 21st!
Confirm Your Available Dates:
If you have not already done so, please take a moment to log into your account on the registration site, and make sure the times and dates you signed up for are correct and will still work with your schedule. Please feel free to add any additional times you are available to work!!
(If you are volunteering for cellar duty this week on Mon. or Tues., please choose the "Steward" option for those dates, NOT the "Judge" one, so that we only have to print one list of names!)

Here are the dates and times we will be working together.
We will begin work at the time noted below for each date, please try to get there a few minutes early so that we can promptly begin explaining what roles we need help with.
This week:
UNPACKING DAY:
Monday, September 21st at 6:30 PM
(unpacking and checking in entries)
We need a couple of people to be Beer Cooler Volunteers, Bring an extra hooded sweatshirt or jacket, and gloves, in case you get cold!!!
LABELING DAY:
Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30 PM
(sorting and labeling entries and labeling envelopes)

Friday, October 2nd -
Check in at 5:30pm --
(stewarding, cellar, organization) Box lunch provided to all volunteers
SATURDAY A.M., October 3rd -
Check in at 7:30am
(stewarding, cellar, organization, filing score sheets once entered) - Hot breakfast and coffee provided before start --

SATURDAY P.M., October 3rd -
Check in at 12:30pm

Beer Pairing Banquet -
SATURDAY P.M. October 3rd - 5pm to 7pm
4 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - serve food and beer
Be sure to stick around for the Sower's Cup Awards Ceremony & Grand Prize Raffle Drawing at around 7:15PM!
Location:
All work days are held at Ploughshare Brewing Company located at 1630 P St.
Parking:
Very limited parking is available in Ploughshare's parking lot. In addition, limited amounts of street (both metered and non-metered) parking are located in front of, and 1-2 blocks east of Ploughshare. The nearest parking garage is University Square Parking at 101 N 14th St., (or, there's also the UNL 17th & R Parking Garage and/or Assurity Parking Garage if they are allowing patrons at the time).
Anyone with an eligible UNL permit can also park next to Anderson Hall (Journalism & Mass Communications) which is very convenient.
DO NOT PARK AT WELLS FARGO OR LAMAR'S DONUTS.
