What a weekend! Alumni from far and wide travelled to Thunder Bay on October 2-4th to relive 50 years of memories during Lakehead University's Homecoming festivities.
2015 is a very special year. Not only because we are celebrating our 50th anniversary, but because it offers an opportunity to reflect on all that has changed over the course of the last five decades. From its establishment in 1946 as the Lakehead Technical Institute in downtown Port Arthur, to a fully comprehensive university with over 57,000 Alumni living and working around the globe, Lakehead has proven itself to be a truly exceptional and unconventional institution.
The past eighteen months have been spent planning many events to celebrate this milestone with students, staff, partners and most importantly, Alumni. We hope you were able to join us for our Homecoming celebrations in Thunder Bay. If you did- we invite you to share your memories and photos with us!
