September Is National Library Card Sign-Up Month ~ So Get Connected with the Koch-Young Resource Center Library

A library card is a passport to a world of information, resources, and learning, and it's free.

The Koch-Young Resource Center (KYRC) Library is a great place to find materials on a variety of topics related to developmental disabilities, parenting, education, toys and many other topics. Resources are available in multiple languages.

The Library is a welcoming environment where you can meet with your service coordinator, your friends, or just bring your kids in for an afternoon of reading and activities at one of our storytime events or playgroups for children birth to 5 years of age.

The KYRC Help Desk can provide assistance in finding information and referrals to community resources. There is a resource wall with upcoming training opportunities at Lanterman as well as in the community.

And most importantly, come connect with other parents and families at any one of the support groups meeting and parent workshops. Discover the joy of telling your story and find common interests with other parents. There are monthly presentations on a variety of topics too.

So get connected with the Koch-Young Resource Center Library and check out what they have to offer.

For questions and more information, contact 213.252.5600 or kyrc@lanterman.org or visit http://library.lanterman.org.
