We are excited to announce that on October 21st from 9:30 am – 12:00 noon North High School will be hosting a school-wide Career Day. This event will draw volunteers from across the Denver community who will engage in sharing their career story and professional journey with our students. In addition, students will also take part in skill building workshops around topics such as resume writing, interviewing, dress to success, and job searching.
Do you want to connect with the students at North High School and make a positive impact in their educational journeys? This is your chance! Volunteering to share your career experience or lead a skills workshop will help expose students to the wide world of options ahead of them, and will help them to understand the value of education in preparing them for their next step.
If you are interested in participating, please click here to sign up. We will follow up and email you additional details as the date nears.

AP at NHS
Advanced Placement classes are challenging college-level courses offered in high school. The College Board AP exams are given in May, and students who earn a 3, 4 or 5 earn college credit for the course. The number of Vikings taking AP classes and scoring a "3" or higher on the AP tests has risen exponentially since 2012. Since 2011, North has increased the percentage of our students passing with a 3 or higher by over 30% while the overall State of Colorado pass rate has only increased by .6% in the same period.
