The SVS recently announced the release of the iPG Mobile App for use with your smartphone or other mobile device. 

The iPG App features concise summaries of 10 of the SVS' latest practice guidelines. Each summary includes key information, an abstract and an explanation of the grade framework used to evaluate scientific evidence and grades of recommendation.

Vascular Surgery History Facts - Dr. Denton Cooley
SVS member Dr. Denton Cooley was recently featured as a "Hero in Surgery" by the American College of Surgeons. Among his achievements was performing the first open-heart surgery in the US in 1968.
