muru-D's Singapore office invited Wattblock to attend the Global Start-up Conference in Korea this week. Korea has five times more apartment buildings than Australia and is a leading exporter of technologies including batteries. Wattblock was represented by our Korean intern Kevin, who successfully managed a trade stand, did a 5 minute pitch to an international audience and celebrated his birthday!

Wattblock has now engaged with apartment buildings across the suburbs of Alexandria, Camperdown, Circular Quay, Glebe, Surry Hills, CBD, Potts Point, Pyrmont and Ultimo as part of the Virtual Energy Assessments project. We have identified residential buildings spending up to 1/2 million dollars on electricity p.a. and located a number of promising solar candidates.

Strata Manager Channel
Wattblock has received referrals into strata buildings from three different strata managers in the past two weeks. We are now preparing sustainability training for strata managers to assist them with communicating the Wattblock Energy Reporting value proposition. We've also developed 8 different co-branding styles for strata managers who wish to co-brand Wattblock energy reports for their clients.

Team Expansion
It has been an exciting couple of weeks onboarding our new interns at Australian Technology Park in Sydney. We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new solar & low energy building team members: Saratchandra, Patrick, Ellie, Wilson, Elisha, Jacky and Rong. They join our existing intern team of Kevin, Branden and Nick. We are now interviewing for interns to join us in Brisbane so reach out if you know someone studying marketing, solar or environmental project management.
