Jesuit Social Services, working in collaboration with National Australia Bank (NAB), is pleased to provide an application pack for the new round of the Sydney African-Australian Inclusion Program (AAIP).
The AAIP provides paid work experience and development for suitably qualified African-Australians. The AAIP addresses the challenge of unemployment and underemployment in the African Community by providing opportunities for professionally qualified African-Australians. Eighty-six per cent of those who have graduated from the program have found ongoing employment within their chosen field.
The AAIP is designed to provide appropriately qualified and skilled candidates who meet the selection pre-requisites (see attached) with enhanced prospects of gaining a job in their field of study by giving them the chance to:
- acquire practical skills and experience in a large Australian corporate.
- work with a coach throughout the duration of the program.
- be supported in resume development and job search skills during the last months of the program and provide future potential employers with a reference from NAB.
