End of Year Event

We have begun planning our final event for 2015, to be held in December.  This year, we are inviting corporate and education clients from both IP Partners and Data UP to a Technology Briefing.  The event will include a three course luncheon and presentations from a number of vendors.  Further information will be available soon, so be sure to look out for it in your inbox and on our website.

BYOD – the time is now!

Has your school been considering introducing a BYOD solution?

With the end of the year approaching fast, now is the ideal time to be planning the implementation of BYOD.  In order to ensure readiness for Term 1, 2016, schools need to begin selecting devices and deploying portals.  This allows time for production and ensures the process isn’t rushed unnecessarily, with everything online for the start of the new school year.

IP Partners is well versed in the BYOD process, having implemented solutions at a number of schools, all with highly variable requirements.  We have a dedicated Education Team that is more than capable of managing the process and developing a solution to suit the requirements of your school and students.  If you would like further information or assistance, please contact a member of the team today.

Feature Series: Cyberoam Unified Threat Management

The Unified Threat Management appliance from Cyberoam allows users to connect to multiple ISPs, balancing demand between them to manage bandwidth requirements.

The Cyberoam solution integrates multiple features on a single appliance to offer comprehensive network security.  Working at the gateway, networks are protected against a number of threats including:
  • Vulnerabilities in web applications
  • BYOD-related challenges
  • Data leakage
  • Malware, spam and spyware
This solution is available as a physical appliance installed onsite or can be implemented virtually, however the latter option is only compatible for sites running specific virtual software.

This product is great in schools, home offices and SMB environments.
