Powerful Earthquake
A 7.3 magnitude earthquake hit near the border of Iraq and Iran, killing more than 300 people and injuring thousands of others. The epicenter of the earthquake was near Ezgeleh, Iran, a town only 135 miles north-east of Baghdad. One of the hardest hit locations was Sarpol-e Zahab, a city in western Iran where 236 people were killed.
