Happy Thanksgiving from our "camp family" to yours! God has blessed us with new opportunities this past month, and we're excited to share them with you. Learn about new staff, an upcoming planetarium outreach, and more lodge renovations... all in this month's newsletter!

New Planetarium Show in the Works
For around 40 years, Sunrise Planetarium has shared God's creation--and the Gospel--with thousands of students. As the original programs begin showing their age, we've begun creating a new series of shows. "Journey to the Planets" will be the first. Loosely based on one of the original programs, this show will take you on a trip through our solar system to explore geysers, giant storms, ice volcanoes, and even a canyon as long as the United States! But all throughout the journey, you'll be reminded that "there's no place like home." Discover how God specially designed one planet--Earth--for life!

The script and visuals for this program are nearly finished. That leaves just three big prayer requests to go!
- First, the Lord has provided a narrator to record the new script. As we partner with this individual, please pray that the recording session(s) would run smoothly and result in an excellent narration.
- Second, we're praying that God would provide the right projector, which will cost at least $8,000. This new projector is essential for allowing future shows to be released.
- Finally, please pray with us that "Journey to the Planets" would glorify God and draw many people to Himself. We hope to release the program by this summer.

Lodge Renovation Update
Thanks for your prayers as we continue remodeling the apartment and boys' lodge. Sheetrock is now installed, ready to be finished by a couple of experienced volunteers. We've also picked out paint, flooring, cabinets, and more, which we'll begin installing once the sheetrock work is complete. Please continue to pray for good progress, and for the finances needed for the next big items: flooring, cabinets, and air conditioning. Thank you!

New Staff Arriving Next Spring!
Last month, we asked you to pray about three people who are interested in full-time ministry at camp. Here's an update!
Two of these people are able to rent a good camper for a very low cost. They hope to arrive in mid-April. The other individual hopes to move into the apartment in mid-March. Please keep praying for wisdom, as plans could change over the next few months. If it's the Lord's will, having these three people at camp would be a tremendous answer to prayer!
Please also pray for 2018 summer staff...
- that God would provide each needed staff member,
- and that each staff member would have a tender heart: ready to learn, grow, and live out God's Word.

Coming Up Next...
We're looking forward to welcoming new staff members, launching a new planetarium show, and more. But in the meantime, we look forward to spending time with family this weekend. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
