GRACE cooking oil. A big thank you for all who contributed to the October Rush. We surpassed our goal of 175 and ended up with 190 bottles of oil. Abiding Grace continues to support GRACE throughout the year, but this helps with the increased needs during the holidays.

Christmas poinsettias. You can buy a Christmas poinsettia to help decorate the chancel area this Advent/Christmas season. The cost is $10 per plant—please pay by placing a check in the offering plate marked “Poinsettias.” Sign up at church through November 26. You can dedicate your plant in honor or memory of a loved one.

Property work day. On Saturday, December 2, there will be work day to prepare the church for advent as well as some post-construction tidying-up. The morning will begins breakfast at 8:00 and finish at noon with lunch. For questions, please contact Paul Harrington.

Painting class. On Thursday, December 7, at 6:30 p.m. Kim Riley will host a step-by-step painting class at the church. It will be two-and-a-half hours long with material costs of $10-15. Parties! Alissa and Dewey Peters will be hosting a Christmas party for all those under 40 at their home on Sunday, December 10, starting at 6:30 p.m. Toddlers and babies are welcome! It will be on Thursday, December 14, at her home. Please bring an ornament to exchange. There will be more details provided later.
