Nature Inspired.  Travel Inspired.  Vintage Inspired.

Autumnal Greetings Everyone!
This weekend I'll be showing at the Open Studio Hartford Tour, an event across a dozen+ venues, where artists will be showing and selling their work.  I'll have a booth set-up at the Connecticut Historical Society Nov. 11 & 12 from 11am-5pm.  Admission is free (CHS will have free admission to the museum as well this weekend) and there are free shuttle buses that will be transporting people to all the participating locations so you can park in one place and see all the events across the city on the free shuttle.  Over 300 artists are participating city-wide, it's a huge event!
For this show, I'll be bringing a lot of local themed work with me as I learned during my first show that folks want art local to their area (let's just say all my mountain and southwest pieces were not a draw at the last show!).  As such, I have a number of barns I'll be bringing with me...
And because I love old industrial mills, I will be bringing a bunch with me as well (not only am I captivated by the history and beauty of these buildings but both my parents immigrated to the US to work in factories in Connecticut, so I have a personal connection to them as well).  I'm a member of the CT Trust for Historic Preservation and have been slowly making my way through their exhaustive list of vintage industrial mills in CT.
This mill piece below is being shown at the Open Studio group show at ArtSpace Hartford through the month of Novemeber (and was recently featured in the Hartford Courant).
If you like old buildings and relics of the past, I have lots of options for you.  And if you're not local and interested in snagging one of these pieces before I bring it to the show, please let me know (I offer free shipping!)
Upcoming Shows
After the Open Studio Hartford show, I'll be showing at the Maple & Main Gallery in Chester, CT for their Holiday Show that runs through January, opening reception will be November 17th.  Wine and refreshments will be served and there's always a buzz at the gallery on opening nights!

I'm also working with Maple & Main on a collaboration with Hartford Fine Arts and will be part of a group show from November - February, details to come.
Once I get through this busy November, I plan to take a break on local work for a little bit and will be working on a Southwest series.  The West is calling me, so until I get back out there, I'll pay homage with artwork featuring landscapes and scenes from New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Southern Colorado.  If you'd like to see my progress on this series, be sure to follow me on Instagram!
