Congratulations to the U-M Sustainability Team who recently won the 2017 AASHE Research Award.
The work for their winning publication: "Green cities and ivory towers: how do higher education sustainability initiatives shape millennials’ consumption practices?" was completed while at U-M and was based on SCIP data.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University, Erin Barton moved north to Ann Arbor to work towards her Master of Science in Conservation Ecology at the U-M School for Environment and Sustainability. Barton spent this past summer on an internship working with The Nature Conservancy, Colorado Chapter, on their Sustainable Grazing Lands Program.

Former U-M Postdoctoral fellow, Ethan Schoolman, and U-M Professor Andy Hoffman are publishing their findings in the forthcoming in the journal Organization & Environment. The work examines the lobbying of Bill McKibben and other influential public figures on the climate change debate and impact of divestment from fossil fuels companies.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts addressing the intersection of human health and sustainability, sustainable thinking, and sustainable behavior, and broader topics involving human-environment interactions. Contributions from the sciences and humanities, as well as practitioners, are particularly encouraged.
