CHP Publications Honored with Awards
We are pleased to announce that two of our recent publications have received several awards this fall.

In September, 15 Bytes: Utah’s Art Magazine named
Saints at Devil’s Gate: Landscapes along the Mormon Trail, published in November 2016, as a finalist for the 2017 Art Book Award. Saints at Devil’s Gate also received the 2016 Praiseworthy Award for Collective Works, Honorable Mention, from the Latter-day Saint Publishing Professionals Association in September.

The First Fifty Years of Relief Society: Key Documents in Latter-day Saint Women’s History, published in February 2016, has also received several honors. LDSPPA awarded The First Fifty Years of Relief Society the 2016 Praiseworthy Award for Collective Works. The book also received the 2017 Smith-Pettit Foundation Best Documentary Book Award at the Utah State History Conference in October. Finally, last week the Western History Association gave the book the Dwight L. Smith (ABC-CLIO) Award, which is granted to the creators or publishers of a significant bibliography or research tool that covers an aspect of the history of the American West.
