Dear Colleague

I’m writing again on behalf of Philanthropy for Social Justice and Peace with a request to complete a short survey. Like you, we are concerned with creating a more just and peaceful world and we are developing an enabling and flexible framework to do so. Please take a moment to read about it here.

Many organisations are doing valuable work in our field, but the problems we contend against are becoming more complex and more urgent. The question underlying our approach to you in this email, therefore, is how we can we devise more powerful ways of addressing injustice & violence, and what role philanthropy can play in this. We are beginning by looking at ourselves and what we do. It’s a truism to say that social change happens organically and is impossible to measure in simple cause-and-effect terms, but we feel it’s important to try and assess what we do in order to do it better and, ultimately, to be of greater value to us all in the work we do. We also want to engage people in our work and communicate better with our stakeholders.

We would like your help in doing this, so we want to ask whether you would be willing to complete a short survey (linked here).
