The Houston Food Policy Workgroup is transitioning to an affiliated initiative of the Houston Food Bank.  In doing so the name will change to the Houston Food System Collaborative.  

Please join the Houston Food Bank for a deep dive into the Food Bank’s efforts to ensure food access for all and help us identify early opportunities for collaboration between the Houston Food System Collaborative and other initiatives within the Houston Food Bank. 

When Houston Tomorrow created the Food Policy Workgroup almost 10 years ago, our intent was to energize the important discussion about local food - survival, sustainability - as part of our mission to improve the quality of life of all the people in the Houston region. 

With this new move to the passionate care of the Houston Food Bank, the idea of plentiful clean, healthy, affordable food for everybody makes a big leap forward. 

Houston Tomorrow’s board of directors applauds the citizens who have sustained the initiative and made this transition possible.
