My Two Souths
Are you coming to the Cookbook Club Meet & Eat next week? This is the last Meet & Eat scheduled at the warehouse for 2017. Let's make it a great one! We've still got some copies My Two Souths in the store. Come in this weekend and pick a recipe. We'll also be posting a few recipes from the book on our blog. The first two are: Smoky Hazelnut Chocolate Cookies and  Southern-Style Pork Vindaloo and Green Bean Verakka with Cardamom Cornbread. Check them out!

Merging the cuisines of southern India and the American South, this book bristles with bold ideas and exciting recipes that will change your ideas of "southern food." Though thousands of miles apart, these "Two Souths" share similarities in traditions, seasonings, and most importantly, an deep appreciation of food as both celebration and comfort. My Two Souths: Blending the Flavors of India into a Southern Kitchen, by Asha Gomez, Martha Hall Foose, and Evan Sungby is a 2017 Gourmand Awards National Winner.
