It was a pleasant surprise, but I could have never predicted this video would become so popular. Using the drill to power my animation was something I did without planning, but I think it captures the imagination because it's so simple.
It was featured on some of my favorite blogs starting with Doodlers Anonymous, and then BoingBoing, Hackaday and Designboom. There was even a short but flattering TV spot on an ABC show. I'm very grateful for the attention and all the encouraging comments I received.
Another highlight I want to share with you is that I was a guest on the Root Simple podcast. We talked about cats, bees, art making and table saws among other things. I really enjoyed our conversation and hope you do too, check it out on their site.
