August/September 2017 Newsletter

What a show that was yesterday? Someone said that it was as though the whole country stopped for just a few minutes and took a breath. What a lovely idea to practice every day.

Even though August doesn't really have a real holiday, it sure has been busy. My daughter is a teacher so there was a week of getting her classroom in order. One of my "jobs" that she likes me to do for her every year is to organize her desk. Last year, I was still recovering and couldn't make it so this year was a real challenge. I'm telling you, there must have been at least 1,000+ pieces of writing instruments! Pens (black, blue & red), pencils, crayons, sharpies, dry erase markers and color magic markers. You name it and she had an abundance of them. I realized something very important while completing this task for my daughter - Always know what you have and use up what you have before you buy more.
