Greetings Spinners,
There were over 25 Spinners who went NW on a breezy evening with a very gracious drop of that awful "bloody humidity". The route was a good one and we countered the wind with some excellent paceline work amongst the "Rabbit Group".
Here is Jeff's report:
12 folks ended ride at The Rock for beverages and fellowship.
Shown below are Jeff's comments from the night ride this past Wednesday:
Starting night ride at dusk with 15 intrepid bikers.
From Jodi:
We had a beautiful evening to ride! Thank you Jeff and Sue for organizing.
Spoke lights, blinky and tail lights -even jacket lights -ask Norm.
Weather looks rather "iffy" for this coming Tuesday so watch the sky and make your own individual decision on whether or not to ride!
OK...the other very significant event that happened this past weekend was the 3rd Annual RAW Ride (Ride Across Wisconsin). To all the many, many volunteers (55+) who spent the bulk of their Saturday welcoming and helping with the logistics of this ride, a very hearty THANK YOU! You just were responsible for creating over 700 people who had a very positive impression of our community. Here is a group shot of the Larry & Rick with the Beloit Memorial Pom Pom Squad who welcomed the cyclists:
Congrats to Spinner Todd Poepping who is pictured below, on his 3rd consecutive RAW Ride...great job Todd!
The Tyranena Ride is another good one to check out...
