Seattle Women's Hockey Club - Registration

Seattle Women's Hockey Club (SWHC) 2017-2018 season registration is open..

The SWHC strives to establish a welcoming environment for women (18 and over) to learn to skate and play ice hockey in an atmosphere of cooperation and competition. Established in 1997, SWHC welcomes all women who want to play ice hockey. Their members have a wide range of hockey experience, from none at all to 20+ years. They have nearly 100 current members and we are growing all the time!

The SWHC season runs from September through April each year. No previous skating or hockey experience is necessary to join the club. They start the year with skater evaluations and then assign players to teams in three tiers: novice, lower intermediate and upper intermediate. Each Monday they have structured practices, that convert to include scrimmages in the second half of the season. They have tiered games on Saturday evenings, where teams composed of players of similar skill level play against one another. Their tiered teams also compete in two tournaments during the season. They offer practice only and full club memberships.
