Sub Drive Extended Until Monday

The Subscription Drive will run through the weekend, which means we get to showcase another batch of rods and customs that have recently landed in our inbox. Ron Olfers' 1932 Ford roadster was originally built in the '50s by well-known Ohio hot rodder Don Broyles, updated in the '60s and hasn't changed much since. It's now living in Austin, Texas.
It has come to our attention that we provided the wrong email address in our Subscription Drive newsletters earlier this week. All car submissions should be sent to editorial@roddersjournal.com. To make up for any confusion this may have caused, we’re extending the Subscription Drive through this Monday at noon West Coast time to give everyone who purchases a new, renewal or gift subscription a free T-shirt and a shot at a feature in a future issue of The Rodder’s Journal.

By joining the 2017 Subscription Drive before Monday, August 21st at noon, you will get:

1) A FREE, limited edition TRJ T-shirt featuring artwork by Keith Weesner. This is a rare opportunity to own a Weesner original that’s only available to those participating in the subscription drive. We only have a few openings left!

2) A once-in-a-lifetime shot at getting your rod or custom featured in TRJ. When you sign up, send a picture of your car to editorial@roddersjournal.com, include your name and mention the Subscription Drive. The Editorial Staff will pick the winners next week.

3) Four (one year) or eight (two years) 170-plus-page issues of TRJ filled with the best traditional hot rod and custom car journalism out there. Hot rods, customs, racecars, vintage photo collections, you name it—if it has to do with traditional hot rodding, it’s in The Rodder’s Journal.

To order, click the boxes above, or give us a call at (800) 750-9550 in the United States, (877) 479-2627 in Canada or (650) 246-8920 internationally.

Thank you for your understanding.

Cheers!
Your Friends at The Rodder’s Journal
We highlighted some entries in our last few newsletters, and we’ve included our final batch here. Even though there can only be one winner, there has never been a better way to show the Editorial Staff your car or photo collection. It's more than likely that multiple submissions might end up in the pages of TRJ.

Keep sending them for a chance
to be featured!
John Helmuth, West Deptford, New Jersey - 1930 Ford Coupe, built as a father-son project with his dad over a five year span. They documented the project from start to finish on the H.A.M.B. here.
Chris Ito, Sugar Grove, Illinois - 1932 Ford Coupe that Chris fell in love with as a teenager (as did tons of others who read hot rod magazines in the '70s). It's outfitted with a S.Co.T-blown flathead backed by a '39 Ford transmission.
Scott Hasko, Washington Township, New Jersey - 1939 Willys Coupe complete with '41 front sheetmetal. The Chevy-powered Gasser runs in the 11s and is also driven on the street.
Charles Hughes, Burlington, North Carolina - 1940 Ford Sedan featuring 350cid Chevy motivation. Charles was a freelance writer and photographer who contributed to Street Rodder magazine in the late-'70s.
Aaron Von Minden, San Jose, California - Ed Nissen/Harrell Amyx front-engined dragster with a Jim Keeter chassis, Doug Kruse body and a 6-71-blown early Hemi.
Jarod Di Mauro, Belmont, California - 1933 Ford Coupe that's been in his family for the past 47 years. Power comes from a stroked smallblock Chevy with a 4-71 supercharger.
Mark Poole, Imperial, Missouri - 1932 Ford Roadster with a 3x2-fed '57 Pontiac motor beneath the hood.
John Serafini, Libertyville, Illinois - 1939 Ford Standard Coupe. You may remember some of John's cross-country hot rodding adventures from the "Tales of a Misspent Youth" chapter of our Scrapbook
Mark Little, Wichita, Kansas - 1932 Ford Sedan that was recently finished and driven on a 3,000 mile shakedown trip across the Midwest.
Aaron Von Minden, San Jose, California - 1934 Ford Coupe with a dual-carb flathead, seen here in action at The Race of Gentlemen.
Rick Spanovich, Cecil, Pennsylvania - 1954 Chevy with lowrider-inspired paintwork. We featured his dad's mild-custom '51 Merc in TRJ #69.
Scott Hasko, Washington Township, New Jersey - 1933 Willys Coupe, shown here while it was campaigned by Paul Day of Dayton, Ohio, in BB/GS during the final days of the Gasser Wars.
Scott Hasko, Washington Township, New Jersey - 1933 Willys Coupe, same car as above, now setup for the street as well as the drag strip.
