Back by popular demand, the folks at Culinary Lab are bringing back another round of fine dining – this time to celebrate Canada 150.

Culinary Lab 2 will take place in two seatings, at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., on the 27th floor of the Epcor Tower. Experience incredible chefs, delectable food, and live music on the rooftop terrace. Tickets are already 80% sold out – so don’t delay.

Live music and a new app at the Legislature

Enjoy music and explore the grounds at the Alberta Legislature. Folk, roots or rock & roll music enliven the Capital Plaza during Fridays at the Legislature, on August 18, 25 and September 1.

Meanwhile, you can download the Agents of Discovery app anytime and explore the grounds with this family-friendly mobile game. For more information click here.

Back to school at MacEwan's new student building

If you’re taking a walk down 109 Street this fall, don’t forget to take in the sight of the new Students’ Association of MacEwan University (SAMU) building between 104 and 105 Avenues.

Construction is slated to finish this September on the LEED Silver and WELL Silver certified facility. Here, students will be invited to study, socialize, host clubs, grab a bite and hold events. Keep up to date on the SAMU website.
