Grand Finals

GO WAVELL!!! We need your support at BNA this Saturday!!! Wear your Wavell Dress or Club Supporter gear and fly the Purple and Green as 3 Wavell teams go into battle for the Grand Final. We need as many Wavell Players and Supporters as possible in the colours to form a tunnel for the girls to run through.

Queensland Cup

Well done to the Wavell players that went to the Queensland Cup in Cairns last Saturday. The U18 team finished third in U18 Div 1 and the U16 team won U16 Div 2!! Both teams played some awesome netball!

AGM

Wavell Netball Club is holding their AGM on Saturday 2nd September at 5pm.

The Executive Committee is made up of President, Club Operations, Secretary and Treasurer and each role has a minimum 2 years and maximum of 4 years term (if the person chooses to run a second term).

This year our President and Treasurer will be stepping down leaving a wonderful opportunity for a couple of our members to join our committee.

Any member is welcome to join the committee without having to take on a specific role. We are very lucky at Wavell Netball to have a committee that is very supportive of each other and happy to help out where needed. Our focus is on making the girls netball experience the best it can.

Wavell Netball are also looking for an Umpire Coordinator, Uniform Coordinator and a Media Coordinator to be filled.
