Primarily a tourist destination, the island is home to many hotels, bars, and clubs, with many people still outdoors during the early hours of the morning when the earthquake began. One building collapsed on top of 3 brothers, but all were saved. Despite this success, 2 people are confirmed dead and an additional 39 are reported injured. Aid is currently being ferried to the island from the mainland.

The Mystery Continues
After having changed his story about what happened to a reporter that came aboard his homemade submarine, Peter Madsen has been ordered to be held for 24 days while DNA tests are conducted on a headless torso that has recently surfaced on Copenhagen Harbor. According to Madsen's new recount of the events, reporter, Kim Wall, died in an accident aboard his submarine and he subsequently threw her body into the water. Because of the disfigurement, police say it is too early to tell whether the body belongs to Kim Wall but they are confident that they will have their answers soon.
