The museletter is currently "eclipsed," if you will, by current events. Until it re-emerges, here is a special "back to school" announcement for Bay Area creative types about THE FLOURISHING ARTIST.
Summer seminars and the Convivium kick-off event were a success!

This Sunday is the last "sample session" of The Flourishing Artist before the fall seminar series begins. If you have already taken the class, please scroll down and check out the enrollment link below the invite.

If you cannot attend either the sample session or the series but would like to keep in the loop for future events, sign up for The Flourishing Artist mailing list!

Energize your creative & personal growth with The Flourishing Artist!

What is an artist? What is flourishing?

There are many elements of well-being at play—achievement, positivity, engagement, meaning, vitality and relationships—in our creative and personal lives. Understanding the science behind what helps us flourish, above and beyond the survival level, can help us excel at the art of living, finding greater joy and meaning in our creative work.

In Kristen Caven’s creative activator, artists of all disciplines enegize their creative and personal potential together through seminars, co-coaching, and focused work.

Kristen is a multifaceted literary creative, with a mission to illuminate, enlighten, inspire, and amuse. She created The Flourishing Artist seminars to support fellow artists and creative individuals while teaching the psychology of positivity.

Her program takes place at a beautiful, historic, inspiring location for learning, productive work, and socializing.

THE FLOURISHING ARTIST seminars give creative people the space and tools to achieve their goals and find greater well-being. In our 3-month program, learn and apply a fountain of knowledge and enriching practical skills in a community of other faceted creatives.

"With a Flourish," the introductory session, is a one and a half hour seminar followed by a social/networking hour.

The Flourishing Artist program is designed for artists of all disciplines at every level of their career.

Try a sample session to see if the seminar series is for you! Regardless of whether you enroll in the series (starting this fall), you will find inspiration for positive change. (One attendee exclaimed, "I thought about it for weeks!") All who attend are welcome to join us for all future social/networking hours, guest speakers and convivia. Come and explore what flourishing means, what an artist is, and what your life as a flourishing artist could look like.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Bellevue Club is on Lake Merritt, a short walk from Grand Avenue busses and a 20-minute walk (or Uber) from 19th St. BART (a.k.a. Uber HQ). There is FREE parking behind the building; buzz at the garage and say you are coming for Kristen Caven's event. (We do not represent, recommend, drive for, or affiliate with Uber, by the way. Just being funny.)

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring a notebook or sketchbook, preferably a fresh one, lined if you are the "I need structure" type. I will also have some lovely hardbound sketcbooks for sale if you get really inspired.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Send questions to info@generousmuse.org.

I am a "Starving Artist." Can I still come if I can't pay? I need the help!

Yes, write me at info@generousmuse.org for a scholarship or a discount. Things will change!

How much is the full program?

The 3-month program will cost $395 and include six seminars, six work retreats, a guest speaker, a convivium, plus food and beverage. Your sample session fee can be applied towards registration. Learn more and register at at http://bit.ly/2thDI2W.

I can't wait to start flourishing! Can I get a head start?

Yes! Take the assessment quiz at Authentic Happiness that most interests you and let me know at the seminar!

Have you attended a sample seminar already? Join us at 6pm on Sunday to toast our success! (RSVP please)
