A Safe Haven of Love for Pigs and their Friends

Honey needs your help!

Three years ago when the call came from Gillette Wyoming sheriff department asking for help after "they stopped a man for a DUI who had a piglet living on the floor board of his pickup truck paralyzed from the waist down"

I did not hesitate to say yes to taking young Pig Honey and I was deeply disturbed over how damaged her body was.

Both back legs were completely fractured in many places and at one point she had a compound fracture of the pelvis.

Clearly she received no veterinary care as everything was calcified very crippled.

Honey had every right to never trust humans but this pig's remarkable spirit was never broken!!

Immediately in our care she received the best veterinary care with no way to undo the damage. Honey was clear that a wheelchair of any type was not ok with her.

I set about to give her the best life she could have living as a pig would want to live with a hay filled bed, pig friends, a refreshing pond, and places to munch grass.

Now 3+ years later Honey is full grown and continues with her amazing spirit of acceptance and friendship.

The small barn Honey calls home has been in need of a new roof since I started seeing holes big enough to see the sky.

Repair work is often needed on our limited budget.

Will you please help with the cost of a new roof for Honeys house??

With your donation Your spirit of love for this pig and all pigs will shine!

Thank you!!
Judy Woods,
Honey and pig friends.
