MakeSpace Sunday School:
Open House & Registration

WHAT: Join the MakeSpace Sunday School Open House, learn more about the school and register your children on Sunday, Sept 17 at 12pm! Registration can only be done in person so don't miss out on the chance to enroll your children! Faculty and staff will be present to discuss all Sunday School information, including the curriculum, timings, fees and other details. The school will serve students ages 4-13 and classes will begin on October 1, 2017.

WHY: Given the challenges our children face in navigating multiple identities, societal pressures and the prevalent negative perceptions about Islam and Muslims, memorization and learning the mechanics of the deen are neither sufficient nor the proper way of engaging with the religion. With that in mind, the MakeSpace Sunday School team aims to help build virtuous young men and women who love God and His creation and who are  compassionate, confident and open-minded. The learning environment at our Sunday School will facilitate critical thinking, authentic spirituality, impeccable character and a strong sense of American Muslim identity.
