Holiday delivery schedule: With offices closed today, Monday Sept 4th, all deliveries will be backed up by one day.
Wow I scored a new apple from New Zealand that’s crisp, tart-sweet and delicious.
A cross between a Royal Gala and Braeburn, the Lemonade has a refreshing, fizzy flavor, and gets its natural yellow color from its Golden Delicious grandparent! A firm, crisp apple with a unique elongated shaped. Thin skin means Lemonade can bruise easily, so handle with care!
You’ll also see more early Murcott Mandarins that just dropped into Seattle. Plus some local, crisp and sweet Pink Lady apples from Wenatchee. Next, you'll be seeing Galas come to market.
We finish out with some good red seedless grapes and, of course, our “Rain Forest Alliance Certified” green-tip bananas. We ripen our bananas ourselves to make sure they are just right for eating today. Please let me know how I'm doing.
