Welcome to the CANI E-Zine

Big congratulations to Jonny Young who just last weekend won Gold at the World Canoe Sprint Championships in the VL3 final. See the performance section for all the great results from the world championships from Jonny and fellow NI athlete Afton Fitzhenry.

The last few months have been great for canoeing with clubs and providers offering lots of opportunities for people to try and enjoy our sport. As we approach the start of the autumn/winter season we hope you are looking forward to the many events and opportunities on offer. The first is the Liffey Descent closely followed by Cranafest then Paddle4sport league events and much more.

Keep enjoying your time on the water and as always we love to hear your stories and see your pictures of your paddling trips, send them to us or tag CANI in social media and we will share them and you will help inspire others to take part in the sport we all love.

Happy Paddling.
