September Releases

The beautiful hardback edition of The Christian Fallacy is out on 7 September. This groundbreaking new book offers a completely new and comprehensive answer to the question ‘Who exactly was Jesus and how does that relate to what Christians came to believe after his death?’ This new paradigm provides a revised chronology for events in the first half of the 1st century AD; identifies who all the key players really were at the time, including the historical figure of Jesus himself; and shows how the religion we call Christianity evolved from Roman misunderstanding of Jewish messianic belief.
It will become required reading for anyone who cares about the roots of western civilization, and the fight for a secular society. Order your copy here.
We have a transport theme going on this month as we now have copies of This Ancient Road and A Most Deliberate Swindle in the office!
This Ancient Road
This is the tale of the London to Holyhead Road – the road that runs through the heart and history of Britain. It dates back to Roman times and covers a rich history of battles and pilgrimages, trade and exploration. Out September 21st, This Ancient Road is a truly fascinating journey through time. Nostalgic, informative, quirky and charming, Andrew Hudson brings history to life in this marvellous book. Pre-order your copy here.

A Most Deliberate Swindle
Believe it or not, in April, 1906 the first electric bus hit the streets of London. Poised to change the face of our polluted city, the plan was scuppered by the greedy and fraudulent financiers in charge of the London Electrobus Company. The Edwardian swindlers conned shareholders, looted the company's coffers and drove the promise of the electrobus into the ground. Out September 28th, A Most Deliberate Swindle uncovers one of the biggest frauds in history and reveals why a century later this historic scam has left us all gasping for breath. Pre-order your copy here.

The Dream
We're excited for the release of Grant Kitchen's inspiring self-help book The Dream on September 14th. In this positive and practical guide, Grant shares his personal experiences and turns them into all the tools you need to fulfil your dream. And how much do you love that amazing cover? Thanks to Megan Sheer for the incredible design and to Joey Everett for the illustrations. Pre-order your copy here.
Ted Buxton: My Life in Football
September also marks the release of legendary football scout Ted Buxton's memoir. As a professional football coach and football scout, Edward ‘Ted’ Buxton is well-known in the world of professional football. He has travelled the world, scouting, assessing and negotiating for players working in the UK, USA and China. With over 40 years’ experience alongside legendary footballers, Ted recounts anecdotes and encounters on and off-the-pitch, and with the famous and not-so-famous.
Ted will also be appearing on Talk Sport radio in September to discuss his memoir. Pre-order your copy here.
